		<description>The other day Ben stunned me by announcing he had -- after nearly an entire year of bagel + yogurt + banana for lunch - tried something new at the cafeteria. &quot;I can&#039;t remember what it&#039;s called,&quot; he said, &quot;The other kids thought it looked gross and wouldn&#039;t try it, but it was sweet, and kind of like yogurt, but you could slice it.&quot; Could it be flan, I wondered aloud. &quot;Yeah, that was it--flan! It was really good!&quot; And I don&#039;t know what amazes me more: that an elementary school served a delicious flan, or that my picky child tried it. But your recipe reminds me to make some at home.</description>
